His special interest is in intensive care nephrology
Many sick cardiac patients have associated renal dysfunction. Mortality in this sub group of patients is very high unless treated aggressively
He has also been trained in management of patients with chronic kidney disease offering them maintenance hemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis and renal transplant therapy
