Part Appointments:

Dr. Vijay D'Silva has held positions of responsibility in various multispeciality hospitals. As a founder member of the Bombay Heart Brigade ambulance service & coordinator at Jaslok hospital, he also was the head of critical care unit at Jaslok Hospital from 1991 to 1997

He is also a founder member of the Indian Society of Critical Care medicine. He has also been the head of intensive coronary care and surgical intensive care unit in Lilavati from 1997 to 2002

He was the Joint Secretary of American college of chest physician (WIC) from 1994 to 1996, Secretary of American College of chest physician (WIC) from 1996 to 2000, and served as fellow of American college of chest physician (USA)

Besides this he was member of management committee, infection control committee, medical advisory board, ethics committee, customer care advisory etc at past & current hospital attachment

Past Academic Appointments:

Served as faculty member for postgraduate diploma in critical care at Lilavati hospital

Participated as speaker in many national & international conferences
